Library Events & Programs - Knit Together Helper

Do you enjoy knitting and crafts? We are looking for outgoing and friendly volunteers to help our adult/child customers with our Knit Together program. Knit Together is a beginner workshop to knit in a welcoming group setting. Basic knit stitch skill knowledge is required.

Staff will show you how to help and will be available during your shift for support. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring in a water bottle and snack if you'd like.

If this is your first time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries, please email Jen Armendariz at jarmendariz@dclibraries.org to schedule a 15-20 minute new volunteer orientation prior to your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.

Qualifications Required

  • What is your age range? Must be at least 16 years or older
