Adult Literacy - Tutor for English-as-Second-Language Learners
Interested in making a difference in the life of someone who has English as their Second Language (ESL)? Your guidance can help them to gain confidence while also adjusting to American culture.

- Able to meet a minimum of 45 minutes each week
- Minimum commitment of 3 months

- Have or willing to get a DCL library card
Training and support will be provided:
- 2.5 hour orientation and training (held the second Thursdays of each month from 4-6:30 pm)
- Adult Literacy Volunteer Handbook
- Optional training and professional development opportunities
- Support by the Literacy & Community Outreach Specialist
