Enjoy a good celebration? We are looking for outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic volunteers to help our customers celebrate their special occasion.

Baby shower volunteers help our staff with set-up, activities, games, and clean up after the party.

Staff will show you how to help and will be available during your shift for support. We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes, and bring a water bottle and snack if you would like. 

Please note: This volunteer shift may end after the library has closed for the day. Please be sure that you have arranged transportation ahead of time, and have a way to communicate with your ride.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Brenda MacIntosh to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
