Library Events & Programs - Don't Bug Me, I'm Reading: Buggy and Bright Suncatchers
We would love YOU to volunteer at this summer program for kids!
As a supplement to our Summer Reading Program, Douglas County Libraries is hosting "Don't Bug me, I'm Reading: BUGGY AND BRIGHT SUNCATCHERS". Attendees will choose and color designs and make hangers to capture the summer sun in windows.
Energetic and outgoing volunteers will help set up, assist with activities if needed, and put the room back in order at the end. No advance training is necessary. Library staff will show you how to help and will be present for ongoing support.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Tracy Martinez to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
Qualifications Required
- What is your age range? Must be at least 14 years or older
