Library Events & Programs - Battle of the Books Helper

It's Battle of the Books competition time! We need outgoing volunteers to help us set up/tear down the room for the events (tables, chairs, etc..), hand out materials during the competitions, hang signs, count attendees and monitor the door to allow teams access at their scheduled times. It's a lot of fun and we'd love to have your help!  

Volunteers are encouraged to sign up for multiple shifts.

If this is your first time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries, please email Jen Armendariz at jarmendariz@dclibraries.org to schedule a 15-20 minute new volunteer orientation prior to your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.

  • What is your age range? Must be at least 14 years or older
