Teen Library Connections - Teen Library Connections (TLC)

Teen Library Connections (TLC) is a great way for middle and high school teens age 12-18 to meet new friends, help plan and execute fun programs, and earn community service hours.

Join us on the third Thursday of every month at the Castle Rock Library, 4:00pm-5:30pm to plan and organize library services for kids and teens, volunteer in the community, give book recommendations, and hang out with this fun, social group.

Teen Library Connections is an ongoing event that meets monthly. You only need to register for the first meeting that you attend. After that, feel free to drop in at any meeting that you would like to be a part of.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Jen Armendariz to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.

After your orientation we invite you to attend our next meeting! If you have any further questions, please contact our TLC Coordinator:

Gwen Swierczek, Youth and Family Services Librarian
