Library Events & Programs - Club CUENTO

Volunteers will assist with this Spanish/English book club for K-2nd graders on the first Tuesday of the month in the Kids Corner. You will help set up, assist with a craft and game/activity, and help clean up at the end. This book club includes members who are just beginning to learn Spanish, so it will primarily be conducted in English. No Spanish language experience is necessary, though it is a plus! We also welcome Spanish-speaking volunteers who are learning English.

If this is your first time volunteering for our branch, please e-mail Brenda MacIntosh at bmacintosh@dclibraries.org to schedule a time for a brief orientation.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
