Library Events & Programs - Forest of Stories - Tree Decorating

We would love for you to start your holiday season at Douglas County Libraries by helping us decorate holiday trees for our Forest of Stories event.  Literary, pop culture and community themed holiday trees will fill the spaces of our branches with wonder, beauty and joy.  We need volunteers to help fluff and decorate holiday trees. Staff will be there to support volunteers.

If this is your first time volunteering for our Douglas County Libraries, please e-mail Sonia Bates at sbates@dclibraries.org to schedule a 15-20 minute new volunteer orientation prior to your first shift.

Thank you for committing to help with Forest of Stories Tree Decorating! We depend on our volunteers to help make this activity a success, so we are very grateful for your time.

Cancellation Policy: Please let us know right away if you need to cancel due to an emergency or illness. Due to the difficulty of securing last-minute volunteer help, Douglas County Libraries normally requests a minimum of 4 days notice if you are unable to attend.
