Library Events & Programs - Read Around the World Book Club for Kids Grades 1-3 Helper
If you enjoy book clubs this activity is for you! Read Around the World Book Club for Kids Grades 1-3 is looking for a helper to assist the Youth and Family Services librarian. Tasks include: set up/arrange furniture, set up activity/craft materials, help greet attendees (kids in grades 1-3), encouraging positive behavior during book reading and activity time, and help clean up afterwards. Volunteer will be ready to assist children who may need extra help during activity and assist in finding restroom if necessary.
First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Sonia Bates to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.
If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
Qualifications Required
- What is your age range? Must be at least 14 years or older
