Library Events & Programs - Vitalant Blood Drive Helper

DCL in Castle Rock is looking for a volunteer to assist with the Vitalant Blood Drive on the third Tuesday of each month beginning in 2026. Volunteer will help with room set up, setting up a snack and water station, and tear down. This volunteer opportunity is split into two shifts, 8:00am-9:00am (set up) AND 3:30pm-4:00pm (teardown/resetting the room).

Library Staff will train and provide support.

First time volunteering for Douglas County Libraries? Please email Jen Armendariz to schedule a required new volunteer orientation before your first shift.

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 4 days in advance to allow us time to find another volunteer to fill this important spot.
