Alamos Schoolhouse - Interpretive Host
The primary role of a Interpretive Host is to support interpretive and site staff in the operation the historic Alamos Schoolhouse and Lake Skinner Recreation Area. This is accomplished by greeting visitors and participating in nature walks, campfire programs, , developing park related
programs, help maintaining the historic schoolhouse and grounds, and other natural science and historical interpretive activities.
Interpretive Host volunteers fulfill a minimum of 20 work hours per week in exchange for a rent-free campsite, which includes electrical (nominal monthly fee), water, and sewer hookups, where hosts may park a suitable motor home or travel trailer in good repair, subject to approval by the site supervisor.
Qualifications Required
- Age Category Must be at least 18 or older
- Drivers License (Copy must be submitted in order to approve.) Must be at least Class C
