Uniting Victoria and Tasmania - Volunteer Hub

Current Oppurtunities - Driver’s Assistant / Jockey – Op Shop Logistics Team, Retail | Prahran

Do you enjoy being on the road? Join our passionate team of volunteers.

The Logistics Team supports our two Op Shops, supplying them with pre-loved furniture, clothing, books, kitchenware and more. Help our Op Shops raise funds to support people experiencing crisis, through Uniting’s programs and services across the local community. Volunteers make this possible.

We are looking for reliable, physically fit, enthusiastic, ‘can-do’ volunteers to join our Logistics Team for a variety of shifts. This critical role supports the team base in Prahran, and reaches operations across South East Melbourne. Important: lifting of heavy items may be required. Safety equipment, induction and training is provided.

Gain new skills and experience, stay fit and active, work as part of a positive, enthusiastic team, and make a meaningful difference. If you have 4-5 hours to spare morning or afternoon (or each fortnight) – then we’d love to hear from you.
