Would you like to join our team of Social Support Volunteers? If you are a friendly person who would like to assist our clients to achieve their social goals and become more connected to the community, we would love to hear from you.

We are currently looking for a social support volunteer for John*. He described himself as someone who is friendly, has a great sense of humour and loves the company of others. He enjoys carpet bowls, photography, socialising and travel. He is looking for a like minded volunteer to visit him in his home for a chat over refreshments, fortnightly preferably on a Monday. John has a hearing impairment so excellent communication and English skills are essential. 

As a valued member of the Social Support Team, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, meet new people and develop new skills. You will have support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator who will assist you throughout your volunteer journey. You will be volunteering to inspire people, enliven communities and confronting injustice to make an impact in your community.
