Current Opportunities - Do you love art? | Social Support | Pakenham

Do you love art? | Social Support | Pakenham

During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever, to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to the life of someone who is socially isolated we would love to hear from you!

Jane* loves AFL, music, concerts and movies, and seeks a positive, inspiring volunteer with a good sense of humour to support her to achieve her social goals. Practical communication skills and a willingness to provide both community and home-based visits are essential. Visits may include going out for coffee, lunch or to see a movie. Your own vehicle and valid drivers license will be required to transport Jane* on outings. An affinity for cats is a must!

Interested? For further information, please contact 13 93 75 and quote OK-S-08.

*Please note that during COVID-19 this role will commence over the phone, which will enable you to establish rapport and connection with Jane and enable her to stay connected to the community.

*Participant's name has been altered to maintain her privacy.
