Are you a good communicator and enjoy interacting with people? Do you enjoy planning events? Blue Cross is looking for reliable and friendly volunteers to help plan our Bark in the Dark events at Forestry Commission Sites across the UK by acting as our Forest Liaison at either Sherwood Pines - Nottinghamshire, High Lodge Thetford - Norfolk or Haldon - Exeter.


What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for all communication with the Forestry Commission Site
  • Carrying out of Risk Assessments
  • Completion of all official event paperwork
  • Organisation and attendance of regular meetings with the Forestry Commission contact at the site.

  • Happy to work alone or with others
  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Good  IT and writing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Project Management skills
  • Willingness to learn about the work of Blue Cross
