Volunteer Book Sorter

Are you someone who enjoys creating order out of chaos and do you want to help pets? Our busy shop is looking for an avid reader to manage our book section. You’ll be contributing to your local community, promoting re-use and recycling and helping pets in need.

What you will be doing:

• Organising our book section
• Sorting and shelving donated books
• Categorising books
• Removing duplicates or damaged goods
• Identifying rare or valuable books

What we are looking for:

• Excellent organisational skills
• Eye for detail and high level of accuracy
• Passion for books
• Creative when presenting displays
• Reliable and enthusiastic
