DIY maintainance and gardening - Gardener


Volunteer Gardener



Have you got green fingers and would like an opportunity to enjoy your hobby while helping pets? Our busy centre is looking for a reliable and self motivated volunteer gardener to help us maintain the site, keeping it clean, tidy, functional and well presented.


What you will be doing:

  • Grounds maintenance work
  • Cutting grass, weeding and tidying the grounds.
  • Hedge trimming
  • Some landscape design
  • You will be responsible for identifying and completing the task required to maintain the site

What we are looking for:

  • Some gardening knowledge and skills
  • Experience of using gardening equipment and tools
  • Regular commitment and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team or alone
  • Willingness to learn and follow Blue Cross procedures
  • A good level of fitness
