Do you have a passion for knitting and a creative flair? We’re looking for volunteers who can produce woollen toys and other knitted goods for us. These will be used to enrich the lives of our pets while they are in our rehoming centre and to help us raise income for the pets in our care.

If you have some expertise in knitting or crochet, can follow a pattern and time to spare, then we’d love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

  • Making and donating items to sell or for use in our Rehoming Centre
  • Helping with stock for fundraising events
  • This opportunity is open to small groups who would like to meet and knit together

What we are looking for

  • Flexible approach to volunteering
  • Ability to work within Blue Cross processes with the support of our Knitting Groups Coordinator

Benefits to you:

  • You’ll be helping Blue Cross to help pets have happy, healthy lives
  • Participate in raising funds within your local community
