Pets at Home Community Fundraising Volunteer


Are you outgoing and enjoy interacting with people? Do you enjoy attending local shows and events? Blue Cross is looking for reliable and friendly volunteers to help run promotional events in Pets at Home stores across the UK to support our store partnerships and help promote the charity.


What you will be doing:

  1. Attend events in your local Pets at Home store to promote Blue Cross during December for the Christmas Santa Paws appeal and June/July for the Summer Fundraising Drive
  2. Liaise with your local Pets at Home store to plan a calendar of events throughout the year to promote Blue Cross and raise funds to help us help more pets
  3. Run and attend the events planned
  4. Give out information and stickers
  5. Help set up and take down stalls


What we are looking for:

  1. Good communication skills and confident talking to the public about the work of Blue Cross
  2. Happy to work alone or with others
  3. Friendly and approachable manner
  4. Willingness to learn about the work of Blue Cross
  5. Excellent customer care skills
