Are you a gardening enthusiast? Rare and exciting opportunity available now at Wallace Lodge, McKellar, North Geelong! Its not often you come across a completely blank canvas that will allow your creative talents and enthusiasm in gardening to lead the way.
To support residents with an interest in gardening Barwon Health has invested in a purpose built wonderful spacious greenhouse. This will supplement the already in place raised bed edible gardens.
To get this project off the ground and meet its potential to have an all year round garden that residents can enjoy we need assistance. If you have a passion for gardening and are happy to share your knowledge and time you could really bring some joy to our Aged Care residents. We would love some guidance with planning and planting beds.
There is a high degree of flexibility in the hours for volunteering in this role. All volunteers undergo screening and a full on-boarding / training program is offered.
