Current Volunteer Opportunities - Palliative Care - Palliative Care Unit Relieving Role
The Palliative Care Unit is a 12 bed ward based at McKellar Centre North Geelong. Volunteers work 1-2 shifts per week to provide social, emotional and recreational support to the patients on the Unit.
We are currently looking for a relieving volunteer with Monday-Friday availability to cover volunteer planned and unplanned leave. In this role you would need to provide companionship and comfort to patients with a life limiting illness. Compassion and flexibility are essential for this role. Full training is provided.
