Current Volunteer Opportunities - Palliative Care - Bereavement Callers
Make a meaningful impact by supporting bereaved carers and family members of palliative care patients. As a Bereavement Caller, you’ll check in on how people are doing, ensure they’re receiving the support they need, and offer information about available resources, such as support groups or counseling.
Location: Option to work from the McKellar Centre or from home.
Skills Required: Compassion, empathy, active listening, and computer competency, including experience with Excel.
Training: Full training provided.
