The Salvation Army - Jefferson City

Thank you for considering volunteering at our Thrift Store located at 718 Michigan St. in Jefferson City, Missouri. This specific volunteer opportunity involves sorting donated items, pricing, shelving, organizing items on the sales floor, etc. For those volunteers who would like to volunteer regularly, or have court ordered community service, a background check is required. Signing up to volunteer takes only 5-10 minutes to complete depending on how fast you type. *Please note:

• You must complete the background check and receive an approval letter from Lori Benson in order to volunteer.
• The link for the background check will be available after you submit your application to open your volunteer account.
• After hitting the submit button, scroll down to the red box. Inside the red box is your background check. If you "X" out before clicking the link a separate link will have to be sent to you and this will add time to the process.
• The background check takes 5 minutes to complete and 24-48 hours for us to get the background check back. Once we receive an all clear from you background check Lori Benson will email you an approval letter and then you can begin volunteering.  
• YOU CANNOT BEGIN VOLUNTEERING OR COMMUNITY SERVICE UNLESS YOU HAVE AN APPROVAL LETTER FROM LORI BENSON.
