Quincy Family Services/Emergency Shelter - Food Pantry Assistance
POSITION TITLE: Quincy Family Services Volunteer
LOCATION: 501 Broadway St, Quincy, IL
TIME COMMITMENT: Flexible hours; minimum 3-hour shifts preferred
Position Summary: As a volunteer at The Salvation Army Family Services and Emergency Shelter, you will play a crucial role in helping to support our mission by assisting with daily operations to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all. Your efforts will help those in the community needing assistance and guidance through tough times.
Key Service Areas/Responsibilities:

Morning deliveries from 7am-9am |

Emergency Shelter: |
Family Services Reception – Potential Internship |
Shifts vary between 9am-7pm |
Minimum 3-hour commitment, daily shifts are 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm |

Qualifications:
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25lbs).
- Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.
- Must complete a background check.
