General Volunteer Opportunities - Virtual Job Coach
The Salvation Army Midtown Treatment Center needs your help. Volunteers are requested to fill the role as a Virtual Job Coach. The Virtual Job Coach will work with members of the Midtown program to learn where members have skills to offer employers and where there are professional gaps. Motivating members is another important part of the activity, as is helping members learn to navigate the social aspects of the workplace. Duties include:
- Assess the professional strengths and weaknesses of employees
- Discover what motivates employees and assist them in utilizing that motivation in the workplace
- Present skills to aid people in job searches
