Youth Programs - Youth Night Leader
The Salvation Army of Kirksville seeks energetic individuals to help us by filling the role of Youth Night Leader. The objective of this position is creating a fun welcoming atmosphere for youth to develop and grow.
Duties Include:
- Welcome youth and volunteers that come into the building
- Engage with students during class and meal times
- Assist youth with homework and lesson materials
- Supervise and maintain a safe environment
- Clean-up after youth program activities
- Occasionally plan lessons for youth programming
- Occasionally help in kitchen preparation/clean-up
- Occasionally assist in pick-up/drop-off of youth participants
Qualifications:
- Must pass background screening
- Ability to plan and create lessons for youth education
- Ability to lead youth in lessons and games

Training:
- Safe from Harm (provided by TSA)
- Attend orientation with Lt. Chris Clarke
