Youth Programming - Youth Program Volunteer
The Youth Program Volunteer will assist the Youth, Family, & Community Director oversee Youth Program Activities for all corps programming, such as band and After School Program, Sunday and weekday meetings, Bible study. special events, gym time, etc.
The Director oversees the volunteers and works with the Youth Program Assistant to ensure that this ministry to children and their families is accomplished. The Director works with the Safe From Harm Sergeant to ensure that all Youth Program Volunteers have successfully passed the required screening, maintaining current documentation for the protection of the children, their parents, the volunteers and the corps.
The Volunteers will assist the Director execute programs for the Youth Department. This includes, serving meals, cleaning after service, helping children with homework, monitoring children during physical activities, and assisting with Bible lessons.
Qualifications Required
- Background Check
- How much can you lift comfortably? Must be at least 30 lbs
- Illinois Mandated Reporter Expiration Date Must be Initial Training
- Safe From Harm Expiration Date Must be Basic
- Which age category do you belong? Must be at least 18 or older
