EMERGENCY SOCIAL SERVICES (ESS) - Center of Hope
The Center of Hope is designed as a day shelter to meet the basic needs of someone who is experiencing homelessness. At any given time there will be two trained adults overseeing the program. There will be an array of services that they can choose from. There will be showers, laundry services, computers for job searches, lounge area, medical screenings, haircuts, and more. They will be monitored in every area of the basements except for the showers.
The homeless aid will sign people in, monitor activity, provide general assistance to clients, refer clients to social worker if need be, conduct basic cleaning after the clients, and more. After a client showers the shower has to be cleaned and disinfected for the next person.
