Donation Center - Thrift Store Worker
The Salvation Army is in need of volunteers to help us at our Donation Center.
A Thrift Store Worker is a volunteer position that helps to sort donations, hang and price clothing, and place items on the show room floor. Other duties may include pulling rag-out clothing from the show room floor, throwing out unusable donations, ect. In an effort to be above reproach, thrift store volunteers will not be allowed to purchase items on the same day of volunteering. However, purchases on any other day are encouraged.
Qualifications Needed:
A good physical condition with the ability to lift donations and hang clothes
A servant heart
A passion to help where needed
Training Required
Safe from Harm (provided by TSA)
Attend orientation with the Officer or designated staff member
