Local Officer Positions - Corps Secretary

The Corps Secretary (CS) is the lay person who helps administer the business, finance, statistics and records of the corps.


The main responsibilities are: to periodically check actual income and expenditures with the budget, help count collections and cartridges, oversee statistical recording, and keep the roll book current. The Corps Secretary is to work closely with the Corps Treasurer, Stewardship Secretary and Missionary Sergeant in regards to stewardship, as with the other ministry leaders to ensure that they are recording their statistics properly. The Corps Secretary will also serve on various committees (worship, Corps Council, corps growth, etc.) and chair the Pastoral Care Council. The Corps Secretary will also maintain and update the Seeker’s Register, assisting the CO with oversight of the follow up for each seeker.
