The Bandmaster is responsible for the musical training of the

band, as well as its management, training and internal leadership.

This includes the development of a deputy bandmaster. The Bandmaster

will conduct auditions and make all instrument and seating

assignments. The B/M oversees the maintenance of the band’s inventory,

library and subscriptions. The Bandmaster is responsible to

see that the band’s message, through music and example, is always

consistent with the biblical standards of persons in a public ministry.

This responsibility demands that the Bandmaster is fully concerned

and involved with the spiritual growth of those in the band. The

Bandmaster chairs the Band Board, serving on the Corps Council, the

Worship Planning Committee, possibly serving on the Sr. Pastoral

Care / Program Council and other committees as deemed necessary.
