Landscape / Restoration Project Assistant

Restoration Projects focus on maintaining and replacing landscape around the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Restoration projects are scheduled in the garden area, on the trails, and near the creek. Activities will include planting and watering the gardens; planting in the patio beds; and removing invasive exotic plants on the grounds. Work with restoration team to accomplish these tasks. Learn about native plants and help restore the Maidu Historic Site. The scheduled restoration work days are: Thursday mornings (Hours to be announced). Please note that all City of Roseville Volunteers must complete a live scan fingerprint, which requires a valid government issued ID card. Livescans can take up to 1-3 weeks, or in some cases, even longer, to clear. The City of Roseville covers the cost for all livescans.

Qualifications Required

  • Ability to Lift Must be at least Lifting not to exceed 10 pounds
  • Walking Must be at least Moderate level of activity
