PROGRAM NAME:     Lunch with the Bunch

SCHEDULE:                Thursdays, 10am – 2pm

LOCATION:                  Archway Montrose, 2420 Montrose Avenue

REPORTS TO:             Program Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY

Lunch with the Bunch hosts a weekly social gathering and learning activities connecting seniors to their community. The volunteer cook would meal prep and cook for 25 – 30 people. All ages are welcome, and all ingredients are paid for. The position day & time is set, but the number of days (1-4) per month the volunteer wishes to help is flexible.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning ahead with meal prepping, some shopping if possible, cooking for 25 – 30 people at the Thursday gathering.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• Experience with, and a love for, cooking!

Knowledge

• Knowledge and adherence to food safety standards.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Standing for periods of time and the physical demands of cooking.
