POSITION TITLE:         Support Worker

SCHEDULE:                   8:30am-3:3:30 pm

LOCATION:                  Emanuel Mennonite Church, Abbotsford Gurdwaras, George Ferguson Location                       

REPORTS TO:               Program Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

To support the Fraser Health and Archway Day Program for Older Adults and assist staff and clients with the extra support they need.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open doors for clients to come inside, seating, games, walk them to washroom or exercise/game areas, help with lunch serving, clean up and support again as they leave.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Criminal record check
• Fluent in Punjabi
• Patience, enthusiasm, good health to support seniors, open-minded and willing to learn.
• Good Communication and listening skills, knowledge of other programs and organization is an asset.
