Dance Class Assistant

Assist one of our Dance instructors in their fun dance classes. Volunteers will help greet children, assist with classroom support and support children who require extra instruction. Dance experience is not required but a passion for working with young children is! The participants in these classes are for 5-6 years old.

Shift Information:

• Responsible for assisting with set-up and clean-up for dance programs
• Helping with games & equipment
• Comfortable interacting with all participants in a positive and encouraging way
• Please bring water & comfortable active wear clothing. 
• You will assist with welcoming participants and supporting children who require extra instruction, and all other free time please spend working with and connecting with the children. 

Children’s Dance Classes – Fridays Oct 3- Dec 19 (No classes on Oct 31) 

Shift time/duration: *First day only- 3:15-5:35pm (2.25h)*; All other shifts-3:30- 5:35pm (2h) 

Number of Sessions: 11

Notes:

• Shifts must be confirmed by an Edmonds Fine Art Supervisor (Jackelyn or Maria)
• Volunteers are asked to commit to the entire session (every class). If you need to miss a shift, please let your volunteer supervisor know.                                             
• Please note that programs/times are subject to change due to registration.
