As a volunteer, you'll work closely with the Team Leader and other staff members to provide the people we serve with a unique experience every session. You'll collaborate with the team to create engaging activities and accompany the people we serve on outings to encourage their socialization within the group or the community. 

 

📍Location: Callide Valley Respite Care, 4 Hospital Road, Biloela 4715 

 

👉🏼 About Us: The Callide Valley Center is a moderate-sized facility that usually caters to 8-15 participants on a weekly basis, primarily on Mondays and Thursdays. Our team consists of a one-on-one support staff member and two activity coordinators who engage the people we serve with various activities. We also organise community outings for the people we serve whenever possible. Our hospitality officer provides morning tea and meals to the people we serve during their visit.

 Assist set up and clean-up of organised activities 

▪️ 

 Interact and assist the people we serve to participate 

▪️ 

 Assist in the distribution of meals 

▪️ 

 Assist the people we serve in and out of vehicles.
