📄 Currently Recruiting - Sunshine Coast - Retail Shop Assistant (Sunshine Coast, Coolum Beach)
This volunteer opportunity will help to assist in the running of all aspects of a retail shop to directly fund our 24-hour crisis support line. Your few hours volunteering can and will help save lives!
Your energetic contribution of time to assist with donations, shop presentation and point of sale. We invite anyone with a customer first approach to service to join our volunteer team.

Coolum Shopping Village, Shop/18 Birtwill St, Coolum Beach QLD 4573
The Coolum volunteer team is a close-knit group of 15 individuals dedicated to supporting the beachside store from Monday to Saturday. The store offers a diverse range of items, from clothing and accessories to Bric A Brac and books. The facility features a small kitchen area where volunteers enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks during morning tea, fostering a friendly and communal atmosphere. Lunch options, including nearby cafes, provide further opportunities for camaraderie.

Times:
Shifts are available anytime Mon-Fri 8:30 pm - 4:30 pm & Sat 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
We are looking for people particularly for Thursday, Friday or Saturday shifts.
Time Commitment: Get started from as little as 3-4 hours fortnightly
Requirements:
▪ Good communication skills
▪ Customer service or retail experience advantageous but not essential
