This volunteer opportunity will help to assist in the running of all aspects of a retail shop to directly fund our 24-hour crisis support line. Your few hours volunteering can and will help save lives!

Your energetic contribution of time to assist with donations, shop presentation and point of sale. We invite anyone with a customer first approach to service to join our volunteer team.

Location:

Shed 6-7 2 Lake Clarendon Road, Crowley Vale 

Our shop is located on the Warrego Highway in the 'big tin shed' near the windmill, across from the big orange.  Janelle, the shop supervisor said volunteering in our shop is like "Christmas everyday" because you meet so many amazing people travelling through from out west but also, many regular customers who become friends.

Tasks involved include:

Customer service

▪ Point of sale transactions

▪ Stock preparation

▪ Shop presentation

▪ Labelling and pricing stock

Times:

Anytime between 8am and 5 pm. 4 pm on Saturday. 

Monday (Morning, Afternoon)

Sunday (Morning, Afternoon) 

Time Commitment: Minimum time commitment of 3-4 hours weekly 

Requirements:

▪ Good communication skills

▪ Customer service or retail experience advantageous but not essential
