📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to Support clients with extra activities or an extra ear to listen to. 

We are a Drug & Alcohol rehab unit. We use  therapeutic model of care to support our clients. SSDARU run daily programs, such as relapse and prevention, family connection, parenting programs, cultural programs to name a few. Programs are mandatory to attend. Our case workers case manage our clients and support them to regain control of their lives. this could look like support for court case, liaising with child safety,find jobs after the completing the program. We also provide in house counselling. 

A Site Support Workers role supports the Case Workers, but transporting and helping with daily activities, especially cultural or mens activities. 

📍Location: BlueCare | Stagpole Street Drug And Alcohol Rehabilitation Unit, 7-9 Stagpole Street West End 4810

        ▪️ As it is support role there is not real qualifications needs. 

- A good ear for listening. 

- Calming presence - our clients often come with a lot of trauma.
