Role Location:

Halls 3 & 4

Role Summary:

Relief Team volunteers provide support in various roles as required – usually covering breaks over the busy weekend days to ensure the check-out tables and Information Booth remain fully functional.

Specific Tasks:

Volunteers in this role may be required to undertake any of the volunteer roles such as Cash Register Operator and Pricer, you may also be called on to help with Information Assistant, Book Tidy or Customer Service. Please refer to the other position descriptions for full details.


Desired Requirements:

It is preferable that volunteers in this role have had some level of customer service experience and love to meet people. During busy shifts, the ability to efficiently serve a large volume of customers is required for this role.

Breaks will be provided during your shift.


Relief Team volunteers will be assigned to specific roles on the day.


Wear comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.


Because it can be very hot during summer months, bring a water bottle.  Water for refills is available in the Volunteer sign-in area.

Advise a Lifeline team member if you require a break. 

It is a requirement for all volunteers and staff working at this event to wear enclosed shoes.
