| 📃 This volunteer opportunity will help to give the girls we serve a positive role model through social interaction and broaden life experience through the opportunity to participate in activities of interest. The residents of Iona House are young women aged 14-18 years old being assisted towards living independently by being provided with a stable and homely environment while completing studies and/or working. The house is full of activity late in the afternoons and early in the evenings and there is an opportunity currently to provide social interaction and casual activities to enrich the lives of our residents. This interaction and/or activities may include but are not limited to assisting with cooking dinners, baking, home crafts, knitting, gardening and yoga.
