This volunteer opportunity will support residents living with dementia to get the most out of participating in one on one activities. 

This time is a valuable part of the residents day and the care provided. Residents who are provided with this support are a part of the 'Frangipani Club' - A symbol that reflects life, colour, beauty and brightness.

This role needs people who have a passion, and experience for supporting people living with dementia and are interested in participating in a variety of one on one activities whilst initiating friendly conversation and provide gentle encouragement.

205-215 Ripley Road, Flinders View 4305

Set on a large site with beautiful gardens and surroundings in Flinders View Ipswich, the facility prides itself on being a community that is vibrant and engaged. Our aim is to create positive outcomes to the lives of the residents.

Tasks involved include:
Activity preparations (resources provided by facility)
One on one interaction with residents - activities, games -discussions (guidance provided by staff)
Reporting outcomes of the support
Provide encouragement and understanding

Requirements:
