📄 Currently Recruiting - North Queensland - Donation Sorters (Atherton Tablelands, Mareeba)


This volunteer opportunity will help to prepare incoming donations being recieved at the back of the shop ready to stock the shop floor.

Your energetic contribution of time will assist with the sorting of donations into predefined categories.  Donations recieved range in variety from pre-loved clothing to furniture and quality someone with a keen eye for detail will help prepare donations ready to be placed on the shop floor.


4 Middlemiss St, Mareeba 

Our shop has a large donation sorting area with industrial shelving located at the rear of the store.  This is a great opportunity to help out in a very practical and hands way alongside other likeminded people.

Tasks involved include:

▪ Receive incoming donations 

▪ Sort donations

▪ Moving donations to storage

▪ Move larger stock into the shop

This is a great opportunity to:

▪ Enjoy social interaction with others, 

▪ To meet mutual obligations, student placement hours or other requirements 


Flexible time between 9:00 and 4:00 pm

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (Morning, Afternoon)

Time Commitment: Minimum time commitment of 5-10 hours weekly
