📃 These volunteer opportunities will help to support vulnerable people by raising awareness and/or funds at local community events. 

 

Support the Lifeline Crisis Support and Suicide Prevention QLD team to successfully hold local events. Activities may include promotion of the event, logistical support, and on-site assistance so that everything runs smoothly, and attendees have a positive experience. A range of events in different environments are held throughout the year and we can match your abilities and interests with the opportunities available. It is a rewarding experience working with your local community knowing that you are contributing to the support of vulnerable people.

📍Location: Lifeline Crisis Support | Local communities across Queensland 

 

✅ What you’ll be doing in general: 

▪️ 

Promoting local Lifeline QLD events 

▪️ 

Providing logistical support before, during and after the event  

▪️ 

Assisting at the event 

▪️ 

The specific details dependant on the event and will be made available at the time of being notified of an event in your area.

💍 Time Commitment: Local events may occur up to 4 times a year with shifts of 4-8 hours available.

    ▪     Enthusiastic and positive attitude 

   ▪     Ability to lift and carry light equipment

Lifeline's volunteers answer more than 2,500 calls to our 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line every day from Australians in crisis.  By becoming a Crisis Supporter, you can offer hope to people in their darkest moments and help us achieve our vision of an Australia free of suicide.
