Students will have formal training done at school, but extra supervision will be helpful to have all students continue to be respectful, responsible, and safe! Safety Patrol Monitors would participate in the supervision of Safety Patrol students, but also in greeting as assisting Westwood students and families as they arrive or leave school!
Volunteers may sign up for the morning shift of 7:30-7:55am and/or the afternoon shift of 2:45-3:10pm. Safety Patrol has three teams and volunteers may enjoy scheduling their monitoring times during the same rotation as their student. See team rotation below:
Volunteers will want to be prepared for weather conditions.
