Welcome to Volunteering at the Wausau School District!

G2M, Growing Great Minds, is Wausau School District’s out-of-school learning program, providing after school enrichment opportunities.

We are looking for volunteers to teach their talent or skill for one session (or more if desired). We provide any materials, the space and a bunch of enthusiastic students! 

Each G2M Session has a variety of programs that students can choose from and we’d like to see what else our talented volunteers can bring! We always want to expand our options and provide a diverse and fun menu of learning choices each session. New ideas are always welcome! 

Session 1 : October 7 to November 21, 2024 (7 weeks)

Session 2 : January 13 - March 7, 2025 (8 weeks)

Session 3 : April 7 - May 16, 2025 (6 weeks)

During a session, you teach your class one day per week from 3:45pm to 4:45pm - no Fridays or weekends. G2M Coordinators take care of scheduling and student signups so you can show up and teach a fun class!

We strive to offer a wide range of learning opportunities, to provide topics and skills beyond the school day curriculum and further engage our students - all in a safe environment after school.
