Animal Transporter/Errand Runner

Volunteer drivers play a critical role in transporting our animals to and from local veterinary clinics for their spay and neuter appointments, check ups and grooming.  Volunteer drivers also assist with the pick up of shelter supplies necessary to care for the animals. 

Skills/ Qualifications

  • 19 Years or older, and have a valid driver's license
  • Obtain a clear ICBC drivers abstract for a minimum of five years
  • Comfortable handling a variety of species of animals



  • Prepare animals for Transport, and safely load and unload them form the vehicle
  • Ensure the animal arrives safely and on time for their appointments
  • Ensure all paperwork is received by the shelter
  • Pick up of shelter supplies (cat litter, food, cleaning supplies, etc)

Qualifications Required

  • Age range Must be at least 16-18 years of age
  • ICBC Driver's Abstract Must be at least Completed
