Volunteer with APEGA

On November 3^rd and 24^th APEGA's Outreach Department will be hosting resume review and mock interview events in Edmonton for M.Eng. students at the University of Alberta designed to help them build the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will prepare them for their careers in engineering and geoscience. If you're a professional member or Human Resources Professional in Edmonton we invite you to come down to the U of A Solarium in ETLC and help kickstart students' careers by helping them polish their resumes and practice their interviewing skills so they can best highlight their skills, experience and enthusiasm.

Skills and Qualifications

Conduct 1-1 resume reviews or mock interviews with students and emerging professionals

Provide guidance and advice to help individuals advance their careers

Positively represent APEGA as an ambassador of the association

APEGA Professional Member, or Human Resources Professional

Willingness to share knowledge and network with young professionals

Professional experience in conducting employment interviews

Professional experience reviewing resumes
