Aerie Foundation Seniors' Program - Home Support Assistant

The Aerie Foundation Seniors’ Program (“Seniors’ Program”) is designed as a pragmatic approach to meeting the needs of seniors and their caregivers. The primary objective of the Seniors’ Program is to provide a range of services to support senior citizens and their caregivers directly. Using a phased approach, the Seniors’ Program will offer an increasing number of services. In the first phase of the program, trained Home Care assistants will provide support for seniors in their own homes. We are looking for volunteers (including seniors!) who are interested in working with seniors, for as few or as many hours as you would like per week. At this phase in our program, we are looking for Home Care Assistants who can provide some or all of the following: companionship, run errands, provide transportation, light meal preparation, and light housekeeping duties. We will provide you with training and orientation, including CPR/First Aid. For more information, please contact the Program Director, Ms. Denwiddie at mdenwiddie@aeriefoundation.org or 296 5054
