Join Bolsa Chica State Beach, Amigos de Bolsa Chica, and the Girl Scouts Council of Orange County for an exciting day at your local state beach!
ONLINE REGISTRATION TO OPEN IN SUMMER 2025
Sunday, September 14th
Event runs from 9 am to 3 pm
Campfire Program with S'mores at 3 pm to end the event with a treat!
- meet K-9 Park Rangers
- meet and greet with lifeguards
- guided tours of the wetlands
- go on a scavenger hunt of the beach and wetlands
- tour the Headquarters at the beach
- take part in a beach clean up
All supplies are provided. Tours are subject to availability.
Event is held at the Bolsa Chica State Beach Visitor Center/Lifeguard Headquarters building and at Ramada 18 next to the basketball court. This is the large stone building you see between Tower 20 and 21. See map below.
PARKING: Parking is free.
ENTRANCE: *Due to the Surf City 10 marathon closing PCH from Beach Blvd to Warner Ave, you will need to enter through the Warner gate at PCH and Warner Ave.* Let the entrance attendant know you are there for the event to receive free parking. Follow the park road south to Tower 21 and the basketball courts. Park here.
CHECK IN: Check in will be at Ramada 18 next to the basketball courts. From here you can walk to the Lifeguard Headquarters/Visitor Center for more activities.
